Ah, I wish we could be there! Even though I am hearing daily Zigeunerweisen lately ;-). It sounds like a nice, intimate concert.Are you serving that coffee?
And I guess Lauren is home on break? I hope you are all getting nicely reacclimated to Jordan since your fall/winter visit to the US.
Thanks, Laura. It was a lovely concert and I was touched by how much the people in our Jordan community appreciated Lauren sharing her music with them. No coffee; I just used the pic that Lauren used on her Facebook event--just needed something musical. She was served that coffee in the Czech Republic. I told Lauren that CZ is playing Zigeunerweisen. Her comment: learn it well and it will serve you well (not to sound too utilitarian!) as it is such a crowd pleaser. Yes, it is good to be home and to have Lauren with us. She returns to Oberlin next week.
